Aloha,
This is where I show off what I am currently working on. The sculpts/dolls shown on this page are works in progress and may eventually end up as part of my Factory Line, My Studio Line, A Dealer Exclusive, My Dealer Collections or even as a one of a kind. All this takes many months and much planning. I just like to share my work as I go for those who are interested. Some of these may just end up part of my own personal collection.

My current works in progress were recently featured on the cover of Dolls Magazine this month. So you may recognize them from that cover in the photo above where I was playing around with graffiti art backgrounds in the photos to show the juxtaposition of these sweet old fashioned little ladies and our modern culture! You will find more photos of each below.

This page is also for dealers to see my newest sculpts before I offer them as dolls while they are still just prototypes so that they can consider a dealer exclusive. I do 2 types of dealer exclusives. The first is a sculpt exclusive where I will sell one sculpt to one dealer only and the minimum order is 50 dolls in one color or 30 dolls in each of 2 or more colors. My dealers are welcome to inquire for further details on any sculpt shown here and should do so as soon as they take interest to be certain it has not already been offered to another dealer or set for production in some other way as noted above. The second type of dealer exclusive uses a sculpt that may be sold in other versions elsewhere. That type can be as few as 6 - 12 dolls and each will be painted and completed by me as an artist version with paint, clothing, eyes, wig and shoes in a combination exclusive only to that dealer.

At this time I have 3 new sculpts I am considering using as dealer exclusives. They are listed by size below. Please contact me if you are interested.

This is my newest MSD sized sculpt Pippa! Below is my artist’s prototype. Since she is to this stage, she is ready to be snatched up as a dealer exclusive for which dolls could be offered within the next few months completed and the dealer’s ready to deliver in May-June depending on how long it takes to work out the details with a dealer. She may end up dressed and finished like this or any # of other possible ways. A dealer may purchase an exclusive of a sculpt that includes both completed artist versions and basic BJD’s. I am willing to discuss this with any dealer who is reputable and contacts me in the order in which I am contacted.

Pippa has the same gorgeous ballerina body type as my Ambriel. But she has much larger eyes and a delicate scoop to her nose along with a bit smaller mouth and a dimple. She has a heart shaped face with a delicate point to her chin. I am very happy with this one and think she has turned out quite lovely! I can send more detailed photos to any dealer interested in producing her.

Mia means mine! And she is my new 7” sculpt below. I love her and I love her name. She is a cousin to my Studio Line sculpt Alexandria. I just refined her a bit making her more delicate. Mia has a deep dimple and more heart shape to her face. Her eyes are still wide set but not quite as deep set as Alexandria’s eyes and her eyes have more of an upturn to the outside corners. I’ve also shrunk her mouth and pushed her jaw back slightly. Finally her little nose is even tinier and basically has no bridge but the cutest upturned scoop! All in the effort to basically get her to look like her sister shown above. I originally intended to do an OOAK piece with these three sisters shown on the cover of Dolls and may still eventually end up doing that. We’ll see. But after this set got so much publicity and collectors are showing interest, I realized to do an OOAK may not be the best use of these sculpts.

DSC07455As a doll lover first I understand what it is to want a certain doll. So I am just beginning to consider producing these either myself or as a dealer exclusive. We’ll see. I just launched my 2012 Collection and there is only so much time in the day. Thank you for allowing me to share my current work in progress!
Mahalo,
